Meeting for Clubs to discuss EBU Proposals

Agenda: 1:30pm, 18th May 2008 at Stoke by Nayland Golf Club

  1. Brief description of P2P in Suffolk
  2. The SCBA wants non-member feedback via clubs
    • Round room appraisal of club member opinion on P2P
    • Each club's position
      1. Endorses proposal, will affiliate post P2P
      2. Rejects proposal but will stay in EBU
      3. Rejects proposal, will leave EBU
  3. SCBA funding post P2P: for those clubs remaining in the EBU and SCBA.

We regard the combination of 50p per member (effectively from club subscriptions) and the smaller per-session fee fair and workable. We are open to views on this. It will keep connection with the county association which otherwise be lacking (club deals direct with EBU).

  4. AOB

This page: history

Suffolk & Universal Membership

There is quite a lot of detail on the website. Much of it concerns financial matters, how clubs and the county relate to each other after UM. For player guides, the best pages to read are:

See the UM homepage for links to all the material.

Any committee member will help you with questions on UM but we have a dedicated working party to answer and pursue problems.

Other than the pages on the debate in June 2008, all the others are kept up to date on matters of both advice and fact and the page history panel reflects that.
