Entries

As you would expect and as a matter of courtesy, we like to know how many to expect at an event.

However we do not insist on payment in advance – even though this makes the long-suffering Competitions Secretary's job a little harder on the day. However we do ask that if you are making a late entry you give the Competitions Secretary, (01379 870291) as much notice as possible.

When submitting an entry in advance (to Competitions Secretary, postal address on the committee page) please make cheques payable to 'SCBA'.

Eligibility

The majority of Suffolk events are open to all members of the EBU who have registered with Suffolk.

That means you must either be a member or an adopted member. Adopted members belong to the EBU, whether direct or to another county, who simply ask to be part of Suffolk. This replaces the pre-Universal Membership 'Associate Member' category – except that it's free.

However a small number of Suffolk events are closed to those players giving Suffolk primary allegiance. Those competitions are:
