Entry fees (£5 per player) have been deliberately kept low thanks to financial support from the SCBA which is also supplying generous prizes to winners – and some clubs.
To enter, a pair must include a minimum of one player who joined the EBU for the first time when Universal Membership came in – or subsequent to its introduction. Pairs where both players are 'new' members are most welcome. Every SCBA committee member is committed to playing with a 'new' EBU member in this exciting event – and hopes established club players will follow their example and so help to make the day a success.
